4. Purpose of data processing

Personal data is collected and processed exclusively for the following purposes:

to respond to inquiries sent via the contact form,

to provide the requested services or information,

to send notifications, offers and news (if you have consented to the newsletter),

to analyze and improve the quality of the service and user experience.

5. Legal basis for processing

The processing of personal data is based on:

the user’s consent (Article 6, paragraph 1, point (a) of the GDPR) to subscribe to the newsletter and marketing communication,

the legitimate interest of the Data Controller (Article 6, paragraph 1, point (f)) to communicate with users who have sent an inquiry,

a contractual obligation when processing is necessary to provide the contracted service.

6. Storage and protection of personal data

Artiko uses appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data to prevent unauthorized access, loss, misuse or destruction of data.

The data is stored on the servers of the hosting provider Mydataknox d.o.o., which provides storage within the European Union and operates in accordance with the GDPR.

E-mail communication takes place via the Gmail service (Google LLC), which has certificates of compliance with the GDPR and the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. Data retention period

Personal data is stored:

for the duration of the communication with the user and until the purpose for which they were collected is fulfilled,

until the user requests deletion of the data,

for a maximum of 2 years after the last communication, unless other regulations require longer storage.

8. User rights

Users have the following rights in accordance with the GDPR:

the right to access personal data,

the right to correction of inaccurate data,

the right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”),

the right to restriction of processing,

the right to data portability,

the right to object to data processing.

Artiko does not sell, rent or transfer personal data to third parties, except:

if this is necessary to fulfill contractual obligations (e.g. hosting providers, IT support),

if there is a legal obligation,

or if the user gives their express consent.

All partners and service providers with whom Artiko cooperates are contractually obliged to act in accordance with the GDPR.

10. Automated processing and profiling

Artiko does not use automated decision-making or profiling based on user personal data.
